Improbabilities

Listen on your favourite platform:

Sometimes things come together in a way that you wouldn’t expect them. But then, when it occurs, it has a charm of its own: a charm with imperfection.
This happened to me with the music this time: I wouldn’t have guessed these parts to come together, but just enjoyed a pleasant journey. And naturally, the music and instruments combined. It could have been arranged better, it could have had more thought into the process, but at the same time I do not want to waste the spontaneity of it. So I decided to let go of my thoughts and opinions and instead enjoy what has formed. That is what I am sharing with you in this song: Improbabilities.

On the artwork picture you see the roots of a tree, a river with swans and ducks, a bridge, a city. Somehow they are very different but still fit together nicely. I liked that to go with this tune. The picture is taken in Prague by @Werner van Beusekom. The image makes me feel that I am rooted in nature, and the city is my friend where I can connect with other beings. The music could well be played on this bridge. A passer-by could have danced to it, where the music functions as a bridge to connect him with his body.

Music written and performed by Jacco Wynia

‘’For me music is all about connecting. Connecting with each other, with nature, and with the core of self. Music can inspire wonderful things. It has given me the ability to express my vulnerable feelings. Nowadays it brings me in touch with who I really am and with my core values.

Through my music, I hope to give the listener the same state of being connected with themselves and people around them.’’
